Unless you live under a rock (or aren’t a fan of trance), you’ve likely heard that Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz have joined forces as a duo called New World Punx. The pair has produced and played together in the past, but debuted this official joint venture at Armin van Buuren’s ASOT 600, held at the renowned Madison Square Garden in New York City, this past March. Based on a mutual love for classic trance from the 90’s, the New World Punx‘s sound is expected to be “harder, more driving and more aggressive than the melodic, euphoric style of soaring trance”.

The track above, “Romper”, delivers on this prospect. “Romper” is the New World Punx’s first single, which they also debuted that momentous night in the Big Apple. “Romper” is heavy hitting and somewhat ominous, due to its repetitiveness and the way in which it builds to the drop. Honestly, if you can listen to this track without feeling the urge to stomp your heart out, I question what it takes to make you move! The New World Punx have made “Romper” available for FREE download. Be sure to get it now by clicking the download button to the right. Enjoy!
